Unique Wedding Ceremonies Around the World
Different country having wedding in their own way, the royal couple may have opted for one of the ceremonies which mark weddings in these countries, some of them quite exotic. Here's a look at some of the wedding traditions celebrated all over the world.
A Turkish wedding combines elements of Western-style ceremonies with local religious traditions. Weddings are mostly held in luxury hotels and the bride will wear a white gown, adorned with a red sash, the color for good luck in Turkey. She and her husband will sit at a special table together with the witnesses, and an official will conduct the civil ceremony.
In the Muslim country of Morocco, the wedding ceremony takes up several days. Habits and customs are changing but five days prior to the wedding, the negaffa, older women who prepare the bridal chamber and the bride on her wedding day, still play an important role. The bride is given a purifying bath, then her hands and feet are decorated with henna designs, kohl makeup is applied to her eyes and she is dressed in her wedding caftan and jewelry.
The traditional Korean wedding ceremony is steeped in Confucian values. Every gesture and move is strictly regulated and follows a protocol. The ceremony starts with a photo session, often in a beautiful garden, then the bride's parents move to where the ceremony is to take place and wait at the wedding table for the groom's party to arrive.
Bride and groom in Japan come together either by a love match or through an arranged marriage. The ceremony itself is an extremely elaborate and extravagant affair and in modern day Japan is a combination of western style marriage and traditional Shinto ceremony, often held in a Shinto shrine located in a hotel where the entire festivities ,including dinner and reception, take place. Photographs play a great role and so does the dressing of the bride who has to change outfits several times during the ceremony.
Germans tend to be either Catholic or Protestant and the exchange of vows takes place in church following the civil marriage in the Standesamt. The bride wears a white gown and walks down the aisle on the arm of her father who gives her away to the groom waiting for her at the altar with his best man.
Depending on region and religion, wedding customs and ceremonies in India vary greatly. However what they all have in common is that they are lavish affairs and symbolize more the social coming together of two families than the union of two individuals. Prior to the wedding day. Bride and groom are attended by seven unmarried females who apply a paste made from sandalwood, turmeric and rose water to the couple's face, hands and feet. The couple are not allowed to leave home after that until their actual wedding day.
Most Mexicans are Roman Catholics and the wedding ceremony take place within the church. Godparents play an important role in the tradition. The madrina de arras holds 13 coins which have been blessed by the priest and which symbolize the joint finances of the couple. The madrina de velacion is a woman of confidence to whom the bride can always turn for help and advice. Other godparents carry wineglasses for the wedding toast.

Make a Perfect Choice for Your Fall Flower Girl Dresses
As October is already here, Fall has already approached. To get you in the mood for the cooler weather, changing leaves and the excitement fall weddings bring, we thought we'd give you some great fall flower girl dress ideas. If you are planning a fall wedding, there are lots of wonderful dresses you can consider that will make your little flower girl feel like a little princess. Here are some tips to help you make the perfect choice.
First, consider the fabric. Your flower girl's dress material does not have to match your bridesmaids' dresses, although it should complement them. For fabrics, instead of the usual satin, you can try velvet, flocked taffeta, or organza. All of these fabrics will look amazing in whatever your choice of fall colors, and will certainly have enough of a princess feel to please your little flower girl.
Next, consider the style. It can be quite sweet for the flower girl dress to contrast slightly to your bridesmaids dresses, so if your attendants are wearing tea length gowns in your fall wedding, consider putting your flower girl in full length. Also have your flower girl try on styles that are both straight and full, although she will probably want a full skirt as it looks more like a princess.
And then, choose the color. Fall wedding colors are some of the most gorgeous you can imagine - from rich russet and sunflower yellow to more traditional colors accented with splashes of forest green or chocolate brown. Continuing with the contrasting look, if your bridesmaids dresses are forest green, consider sage for your flower girl. Warm yellow and pastel yellow, sapphire and pale blue, the fall color combinations are endless.

Finding A Suitable Wedding Shoes
Go for a versatile shoe. In the summer months, most shoe shops have plenty of plain white satin shoes. They're easy to come by and generally not too expensive. The benefit of white satin shoes is that you can dye them after the wedding, so you'll get much more use from them then you thought.
Embellish your feet. If you buy plain shoes, why not try embellishing them yourself? You can buy really pretty beads, clips and feathers from haberdasheries or accessory stores, then simply arrange them in your desired way and attach them with some glue.
Find a cheap shoe stockiest. On the high street there are a number of places to find cheap wedding shoes. Look in the department stores and stores that cater for end of line, end of season, etc. stocks.
Avoid wedding shoes boutiques. Many of the wedding boutiques and wedding dress shops stock shoes but a word of warning, don't buy your shoes from them. Often they're overpriced and you'll be able to find something similar on the high street for half the price. Unless of course, there's a sale on.

Beach Theme Wedding Invitations Inspiration
Every couples want to make unique their wedding. One of the most unique wedding is beach wedding. Before thinking about beach wedding, Couples pallaned about wedding invitations. Getting beach wedding invitaions samples is not so difficult. Here are some samples of beach wedding invitations.
A postcard-style wedding invitation provides a great opportunity to add a tropical image that will make your guests long for sun, sea and sandy shores. Make sure that the postcard is made from high-quality paper and includes decorative borders around the photo. Place the "save the date" text above the image and the wedding date below. Design the back of the invite as you would a normal postcard with further details and the recipient's address.
Use a standard wedding invite and place inside a decorative matching envelope. Wrap a large ribbon around the envelope and use a glue gun to attach a starfish to the knot of the bow, for a dramatic but classy, beach-themed finish. Send the completed invite in a small decorative box. Remember to pick a ribbon that matches your wedding colors.
For a genuinely beach-themed invitation, replace the starfish with a vial of sand. Wrap a large ribbon around your traditional wedding invite and tie at the front in a bow. Choose a vial containing just one type of sand, or you may choose a decorative sand vial with colorful layers and images crafted to the side of the glass. Attach the sand vial to a thread and sew to the underside of the bow's knot. The vial should hang about an inch below the knot of the bow. Mail the invite to guests in a small box.
For a fun invite that is particularly appropriate for a younger couple, have the "save the date" text printed onto flip-flop shaped cards. Glue the cards to the back of an actual flip-flop for a snazzy invite that your guests are sure to remember. To mail-proof the invite, use a small flip-flop sized box and place a sheet of cream-colored tissue inside. Add the flip-flop to the box and cover with small polystyrene balls. Cover with tissue paper and place the lid on the box.
